I found this website that makes an attempt to redraw boundaries according to where people feel they live as opposed to where political boundaries say they live. There are even sports maps that show where boundaries between sports fans exist. Note how Connecticut is split between Red Sox and Yankee fans.

Hey thanks dave!!! That is a great site and the statistics are awesome. I love how in almost every sports category a Boston/New England sports team has the most fans! Haha we are faithful fans around here, especially for the Red Sox (obviously)!
