Not sure if anyone remembers Nantasket Beach, there's an upcoming beach party planned for April 2 to remember the area as it once was. 
I'm not involved in it, however I'm posting the link to the story in Wicked Local.com
There is also a ticket cost associated. But for people looking for back-in-time historical look at that area this may be for you.
