That was a really poorly written article. She glosses over a lot of details and doesn't really critique what the opponents are doing as much as she holds a light on developers and architects. The "rendering" of the Greenpoint Landing by opponents is CLEARLY propaganda but does she take them to task as well? Nope. And who is this guy saying One57 is "One57 as probably the most hated building in the city at the moment."? Who the hell is saying that?! What a crock of shit this whole thing is. Also the reason the Brooklyn-Battery Bridge was actually scrapped was because FDR, president at the time, and Moses HATED one another from back when they worked in Albany and FDR used the Brooklyn Navy Yard as an excuse to block the bridge saying that it would impede Naval traffic (ignoring the fact that two other bridges already stand in the way).
