So I was walking home around 8 or so, I'm maybe 100 feet from home, and there were some people standing outside of the building next door to mine. All of the sudden out walks Larry David. My head immediately started to spin (haha), questioning if it could really be him (it was) as he's walking towards me.
I blurted out something like "wow this is surreal!" with a big stupid grin on my face and probably looked like an idiot (hahaha), but he said hi with an almost-smile and I said hey back. But man, the way how he burst out of the building made it feel like I was suddenly witnessing a scene from Curb Your Enthusiasm right before my eyes!
So back on Earth, this has me wondering: what the hell is Mr. Larry David himself doing in the building next to me??
Now this is particularly interesting, because the building - 1084 Boylston, where Costello's Liquors used to be - is now gutted (asbestos was removed about a month ago) and today the front door and back windows were wide open, allowing you to see the empty first floor. This was the first time ever that the building was left open when there weren't any construction workers there, which is something I noted before I saw Larry. So seeing him just makes me all the more curious as to what will be going in there..
So people... any clues? ideas? unabashed speculation?
