Yeah, the 7 extension is scheduled for completion for 2020, just like the green extension.

What are you trying to get at? Trying to measure Boston's transit to NYC's? Is this Red Sox related? I'm sorry man, but if you want to argue that NYC is as bad as Boston by saying NYC's pace is equal to Boston, that's not really a great prize. All that means if NYC is going as slow as Boston, which it isn't, is how sad the state of transit for Boston and now NYC...

Of all the fights to pick you've really dug deep to the bottom of the barrel? Are you saying Boston is better than New York because they don't have as much of a mass transit system to control?

Sweet, I thought you were going to block this thread too! Do I still have to be civil? Anyway, now that I've cut you down to size.

- There's only one new subway line being created that took forever to start building.
- There are a couple of extensions being created with late completion dates.

Based on what you say on FutureMBTA and your posts in the BRT in NYC thread, you are a hypocrite on the subject. I love it how you were tooting your own horn and implying that NYC is such a magnificent city that it even has BRT projects in the works. On futureMBTA, you can't stop bashing it mostly because it will serve Boston communities with lower income families. Well guess what Mr. Transit, the same thing is happening with the less fortunate in Harlem and the Bronx. Where is your outrage!?

Maybe you don't understand:

BRT<LIGHT RAIL

MTA DOESN'T STATE BRT = LIGHT RAIL
MBTA STATES BRT = OR > LIGHT RAIL

The MBTA promised the South End and Roxbury a HEAVY or LIGHT RAIL replacement equivalent to the elevated Orange Line. What was delivered was a joke repainted bus. The Silver Line service is not equivalent to rail and was tacked onto the totally unrelated Piers Trainsitway Project to get federal dollars for a service replacement the state was mandated to pay for on its own.

The MBTA doesn't really mean that, they only state that brt >= lrt so they don't get sued. Can you blame them?

A. Intellectually pummel you into a fine paste or at least ridicule you thoroughly.
B. Ban you, for a period of time or permanently.
C. Have Toby legally wrangle you into the ground or bite you, depending on his blood alcohol level.
