Threads Marked "new" - Bug?

I've been noticing that when I post in a thread, it will mark the thread as new/unread until I open the thread again. This is the only board I've encountered with this setting, and although it's just a nitpick, I'm wondering if this can be changed (or if theres a specific reason that it's set this way).

Also, if this is something I have to set in my control panel, let me know.

It's minor but annoying.
