USGBC: EGB Boston Design Competition Kick Off Event

The USGBC Boston chapter is hosting a design competition which is managed by the Emerging Green Builders (EGB - Students & Young Proffesionals). The Lindemann building is the focus of this competition. You need to be a student or young proffesional (out of school for 5 years or less) to register. There is a kick-off event on May 19, 2008 at the Nexus Green Resource Center, 38 Chauncy Street, 7th Floor Boston, MA 02111. Food and drink will be provided, doors open at 7pm. Anyone who doesn't fit the registration category but is interested in the competition, should consider acting as a member of the jury or an advisor to one or more of the teams. This local design competition offers cash rewards, and whoever wins this moves on to a national competition showcased at the Greenbuild International Conference in November, held here in Boston this year.
