Will be great to get those power lines under ground in the area.
 
This is pretty interesting how theyre trying to create a mini downtown over here on side roads. Naturally with organic squares they build up at the convergence of main roads and grow over time. Will definitely be interesting to see how this turns out, I think it looks ok so far. Its just kind of weird how its set back from Boston street residential, and mass ave industrial. Its backwards compared to normal squares.

In time it will make more sense if it builds its way over to Mass ave, and eventually crosses to the other side. This will have Mass ave cut between the square and make a whole lot more sense. With the enormous amount of space around here I think its inevitable over time. For now they just needed a spark and it just so happened to be unconventional.
 

$39M Construction Loan Closed for Dorchester Multifamily​

“Willow Baker Two LLC has closed on a $39,000,000 construction loan for the multifamily development planned at 75 Willow Court in Dorchester. The financing through Earlsfort US Real Estate was arranged by Brian Rooney at FinanceBoston. Work is underway on the 6-story, 80+ unit project adjacent to the South Bay Center. The building is part of a larger development set to include 3 buildings in total with 191 residential units.”
