Members are encouraged to nominate what they believe is the worst proposal for a site in the Boston area not under construction. (A proposal cannot win two years in a row)

Previous winners:

2011:
Suffolk Downs Casino

2010:
Urban Ring Bus Rapid Transit

2009:
Anti-Shadow Legislation

2008:
350 Boylston Street

Wynn Casino in Everett - This would be a traffic nightmare, also if I were staying there I wouldn't like the view out the window. (power plant, windmill, car wash, Route 99, backside of stores at Gateway Center, and metal salvage yard

St Paul's Cathedral Nautilus Pediment
Rail extension to Cape Cod

Isn't the St. Paul's pediment an actual, finished development? If so, it's not eligible in this category.

I don't think it's been done yet.

I was there yesterday; it's still a blank wall.

I nominate... Forest Hills Village. Missed opportunity; there should've been greater density and retail presence in the proposal.

What development is proposed there, that you are nominating for this award?

Jacob Wirth's tower. Yet another car-oriented downtown highrise with an above-ground garage.

Also, Fenway Center.
