Happened to be driving through Audobon Circle earlier today and noticed this gem. I never really had an opportunity to snap a photo so I did.

Been debated here before - nobody can decide whether it's a result of an overly edgy architect or an overtly cheap owner (who at least had the largesse to spring for balconies, if not much else)
 
That building was once featured in the "Preservation" magazine put out by the National Trust For Historic Preservation. Next to the pic of the building was the caption "Yikes!" Every issue they would feature one example of inappropriate treatment to an historic building somewhere in the U.S.

I was guessing it already had, given how terrible it looks.
 
The pics have been taken down, but I'm guessing you're referring to the BU owned apartment building on Beacon St. known as the "trailer park in the sky"?
