Wow, 210 units of affordable housing. This is great news!
 
I'm glad they're not trying to level the historical structure, like is happening up and down Stuart Street (including next door to this). The BPDA is veering dangerously into 1960's territory with the amount and quality of buildings they're allowing to be demolished.

The City quietly allowed the creation of a new SRO with this, which is fantastic. If only we hadn't zoned them out in the 60s and 70s....they're a type of housing that was traditionally profitable to build even in expensive districts.

The Walsh administration has been quietly allowing this in a number of developments around the city (St. Francis House housing, for example). Particularly focused on our homeless population and extremely low AMI.
