BRA Meeting: Harbor Garage Redevelopment

This is to inform you that there will be an Impact Advisory Group (IAG) meeting for the Harbor Garage Redevelopment Project on Thursday, June 25, 2009. The meeting will be held in the BRA Board Room, which is located on the 9th floor of City Hall. The meeting will begin at 6 and end at 7:30p.

Ugh... my activism ebbs and flows... on one hand, I want to go to this and support smart development, but on the other hand I know that going will be a 100% waste of time.

Menino will not allow anything to be built here except a stump. Period.

All the dog-and-pony shows of endless community meetings are just a means to an end.

Menino will be re-elected. So Chiafaro doesn't get this one. No matter what.

But on the other hand, it makes my blood boil to just sit here and not do anything.

On the other hand, I'm busy and getting to a 6pm meeting would mean I'd be working late tonight when I get home...
