Hello Team,
I am about to build a modern home in Reading. There is a terrific Australian TV show I watch, Grand Designs, where a home owner was able to purchase some commercial grade high rise windows from a construction site and utilize them for his modern home. The logic behind all of this is that construction sites often order extra windows because some will break, etc. This fella got a great deal on quality, double-pane large size windows.
I was wondering if something like this can be done here in Boston. Any ideas how I may go about getting commercial windows at a good deal? Any commercial salvage yards, or any other salvage places you would recommend I check out?
I would like to reuse / repurpose anything I can for my new home provided it is a quality product. Thanks for your input!
