On another forum there is a comparison of the building boom in Boston, Seattle and San Francisco and as part of that people were making lists of all the projects in each city that were over 10 stories. I figured that I would post the list on here. I am sure I missed some projects but it was interesting and eye opening to see how much is happening here in a giant list. I included the cities of Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Everett, Brookline, Chelsea, and Malden as the urban core.

Nice. Can you post the link to the forum that does this comparison? Would be great to see similar lists for other cities.

Although, the definition of boundaries in all cases will be contentious. When I saw you write

I included the cities of Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Everett, Brookline, Chelsea, and Malden as the urban core

I immediately thought - why not Quincy? Revere? Not that it really matters. But I imagine "urban core" is a pretty difficult term for comparative purposes.

"New 10+ story developments within 1 mile of a rapid transit stop" - I could live with that for comparative purposes, I think (although in your list above it would eliminate Chelsea and Everett and much of Somerville!)

Edit: like this perhaps

I didn't include the others because they didn't have qualifying projects. I did check them but they didn't have any so I didn't include them... I guess Chelsea didn't either so really the projects I have are only from Boston, Cambridge, and Everett. All the other cities didn't have any buildings above 10 stories. The new FBI building was just below the cut off.
