^--- You're a 5 minute's walk to the Common, most of the town's rec facilities (including a pretty nice playground and multiple public pools), Memorial Pond / Spring Brook Park and their walking trails. Overall, Walpole does a fantastic job in terms of public green space, especially for a town of under 25,000. Bird Park is essentially a mini-Olmsted; John Nolen designed it. Walpole has a public farm: Adams Farm. There's Spring Brook Conservation Area. There's also the old Sharon Country Day Camp property which has been turned into Jarvis Farm.

Walpole and Sharon do great jobs with public land. Norfolk and Foxboro are pretty decent too.
