I think there is a 'Brahmin full emloyment policy' in this state, I've seen it in action and seen documentation to prove it. How about naming some instututions that fit your category today. I'm not sure even the Hoticulture Society still fits that description.

Are still any Brahmins left? I thought they all left in the 50's/60's or married the bloody Irish thus destroying bloodlines.

I used to think of the Athenaeum as Brahmin, but then I met John Keith and other folks there who don't fit that category.

Speaking of Brahmins, have you seen the new Vineyard shop at the pru. The Bloods and the Crips ave nothing on the Brahmins when it comes to gang affiliated colors.

According to statler's list, the late Cardinal Cushing was a Brahmin??? Who would have thought! LOL!

Kerry, a Brahmin? Isn't he Irish? Let alone the fact that he's a Catholic. I thought Brahmins were hard core WASP and anyone else need not apply.

The Brahmins have become more inclusive. As long as you marry, I mean have, a ton of money, you can become an honorary Brahmin.

Turns out Kerry's paternal grandparents were Jewish - Fritz Kohn and Ida L?we. Kerry only found out about this in 2003

Kerry's got a lot of interesting ancestors (Irish, Jewish, French - his first cousins still live in France) but he's still also Brahmin for sure. His parents didn't pick the fresh-off-the-Mayflower middle name of "Forbes" (which you can find in the list above) randomly.

Forbes is Scot. I don't think Kerry has any Irish in him at all.

Actually, I knew that. I met him once getting off a flight from France a few years ago. According to a friend of mine at Air France, he flies them fairly often to France.
