“The proposed project involves the construction of a new six-story, multi-family residential building comprising 36 units. Six of the residential units will be designated as affordable in compliance with the City of Boston’s Inclusionary Development Policy. The existing site currently includes 23 vehicular parking spaces, which will be retained. An additional 20 parking spaces are proposed as part of the new development, along with 50 bicycle parking spaces to support sustainable transportation options.”

They could pump out 100 of these and drop them all over Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, etc.
honestly that isn't a bad idea. in a public recognition of how dire the housing crisis is, simply develop 2-3 tempted designs for high density buildings that fit onto normal lots, and literally go in and build all over

Preapproved designs would be great, but gotta get zoning updated to allow them, too.

How did they get an architect to agree to use brick and to align features across floors? And to not manipulate the facade with kooky boxes and materials? Sadly whoever stamped the drawings will probably lose their license for this. The saving grace, I guess, is the college dorm-style assymetrical window frames.
