Interestingly, that video says the address of the stadium will be 1 Dexter Street, Everett. All the docs I've seen so far (and the title of this thread) have put it at 173 Alford Street, Boston. Has that officially changed?
 
I see there appears to be a very small parking lot behind the stadium. It would be kind of cool if since the tailgating is going to be lost, if they had a spot in back where they could have vendors maybe food trucks and stuff, plus alcohol, and some corn hole and different things setup so it could of still be a tailgating experience without the massive wasteful parking lots.

Eventually when the area starts to fill in a bit they could close down the street like they do at fenway and have like a pedestrian only street on gameday with food vendors and merch etc. Id have to imagine kraft and everett would like to see a final form of patriots place where its actual real city blocks like assembly or something eventually fill in the area.
 
The only ingress to the proposed stadium property from Dexter St appears to be this tiny entrance way that is currently gated. This looks more like an easement to me. All of the electrical apparatus and related infrastructure at this entrance way looks rather menacing and none of that is part of the defunct power generation station.

Surely they will not be using a Boston address :).

I'm surprised they haven't renamed an interior roadway to make it "1 Revolution Drive". Incidentally, 1 Dexter Street is the address of whatever facility uses what will be the stadium access road. They have a sign now:

Wynn, DeMaria strike hotel and commuter-rail deal on Everett mayor’s last day in office - The Boston Globe

DeMaria's successor, Robert Van Campen, struck a positive tone about the deal, while questioning the location of new train station.

An important tidbit from a separate deal between Carlo DeMaria and Steve Wynn.

On top of annual payments approaching $27 million in the 2024 fiscal year, Wynn’s original agreement with Everett to build Encore also called for a new commuter rail station, but didn’t spell out how much the company would contribute or where the station would go. The new deal with DeMaria commits Wynn to spend up to $25 million on a full-service station adjacent to the casino along the Newburyport/Rockport line, if the hotel development comes to fruition. It’s not clear yet how much a commuter rail station would cost there, though the total price would likely exceed that number.

“We are pleased to reach an agreement with the City of Everett that may allow for two, future third-party hotel developments on Broadway near Encore Boston Harbor,” Wynn spokesman Michael Weaver said in a statement.

Van Campen, meanwhile, questioned the station’s location, saying it could have a bigger impact if located on the other side of Broadway, closer to a sprawling former oil tank farm where more development is planned.

In some respects, it's a location that would make subsequent infill at Sullivan and Sweetser Circle awkwardly closely-spaced propositions.

So, the sign for 1 Dexter St is actually located on Alford St (aka Rt 99). Yeah, good luck with those GPS directions.

It's playful in a Disneyesque sort of way, with one stack housing a bar with views of the city no less. I can see this being a prominent feature in Smokestackland. How it will play in Birmingham I have no idea. This isn't quite the same as musing about preserving an existing property feature in Everatt, is it?

I wonder, given Bob Kraft’s questionable behavior surrounding the whole Ed Sheeran/Macklemore fiasco, and his own hypocrisy (e.g., Trump, Epstein, Orchids of Asia) if any of this will backfire on him and force him to sell the team. It’s definitely hurting his top two brands (Pats, Revs.) I know that this is not a political discussion but I had to put it out there. Just thinking out loud (which is an Ed Sheeran song so no pun intended.)

I think the hypocrisy is in Kraft's behavior on the Palestine fiasco (I have my out-of-state friends learning what a scumbag he is and telling me they're disgusted) and the questionable is the Trump relationship, Epstein connections, and the handy at the Orchids of Asia.

Like most rich men, I think he has hired smart enough people to handle a lot of this for him - but - I hope there's more skeletons in the closet and perhaps an Edmond Dantes somewhere in his personal history.
 
It’s sad, because for about 20 years there, he did a lot of good and had a great legacy built up.

He lost his way when his wife, Myra, died about 15 years ago She was his true compass. Ever since then, he’s drifted aimlessly like a confused dog off a leash. Most people do that in obscurity. In a perfect world, his kids would have taken away the keys years ago. But at that atmospheric financial level, that was a fraught option. This week, however, seems to be the last straw. I think he hands off the reins to his son(s) within months.

Maybe Kraft is a hypocrite, but I'm unable to follow your logic. Are you saying Kraft's a hypocrite because Epstein discussed Kraft's 2019 solicitation case with his own legal team and because he didn't vote for the same person you did?
