South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Should obviously be taller, but this is progress. Starting to step upwards from this edge of Southie towards outer Seaport/D Street corridor would create a continuous gradient from 100% residential to the new mixed use towards Dry Dock. Now only if the Reserved Channel/Pappas development could go full scale in height and density we'd be in business...

This will be one to watch, from whats shown in the rendering it looks like they are trying to keep it as close to the layout they have now as possible, likely combining multiple Marion Manor bedrooms into units.

Come on, there's a beautiful little flat iron dying to be built here.

Come on, there's a beautiful little flat iron dying to be built here.
This is a solid chunk of building that takes up the entire stretch from Dorchester St. up to Thomas Park. I can't imagine you're going to get enough value in knocking it down to rebuild it with a slightly different footprint.

I'm personally not a fan of replacing the contrasting brick up front with a more uniform color, I think it looks better even if it's less modern: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jL4cXzCMNEkusnMd7

Oh, I actually assumed it was a new build.

This view is kind of flat iron-ish. It's what's left of the old Carney Hospital

-Approved, very nice, I like that they matched it pretty closely to the new building next door.

Love that the broadway face is mostly brick. From the renderings, it looks like real brickwork too.
