Are there near term scheduling improvements that can be expected as a result? Does the T have the equipment and personnel to run more expresses or higher frequency?
Would rubber tire automated light metro (Montreal REM with rubber tires) address the grade and station siting challenges of the Grand Junction ROW? Specifically the Mass Ave station location and maneuvering over/under the Fitchburg Line ROW. If so that may actually be a good option. Small...

Given the event trains almost always sell out at $20 a ticket I think they could do a lot better than 7 percent with better service even for standard events. Hopefully the permanent full high allows that.
The current Eversource substation rebuild is allegedly provisioned to not block a GLX to Porter based on commitments made in community meetings. Not sure if that means they’re not further encroaching on the ROW or if the new substation will be pulled back a few feet.

So I never noticed this in the presentation but it was pointed out in the GSNC meeting yesterday, the barrier in the median is not something we’ve seen before. The neighborhood council could not get confirmation from MassDOT or Rep Connolly as to the nature of the barrier. Could be an 8ft chain...
There’s a really good opportunity with this lot to create a retail space that interfaces with the community path. It has been discussed in the Gilman Sq neighborhood council that the developer is interested in retail or community space at street level and path level. Hopefully future renders...
