Would that make a difference? Places that seem like they would want to build taller are in places where the restrictions make sense (like seaport).
In other places, people aren’t biting at the existing height limit, so even if it were removed it doesn’t seem like anyone would go for it anyway.
I’m all for parking structures to be hidden, but I’m probably the only person in here who actually wants a place to park my car downtown, because it’s just way more convenient.
I’m pretty sure the building this replaced was itself cheap and mediocre quality, right?
Not everything old is high quality, they had budgets back then too.
With Mariel right there, there’s plenty of activity. The Vermillion Club is getting popular, and Chemist was packed. The new bar at the intercontinental was doing alright too.
