I think that Boston has distinct skylines. Back Bay's does face the river and doesn't really visually fit in with the Shawmut Peninsula skyline which faces the Harbor.
The Diesel family of cafes in Somerville are all good. Diesel in Davis and Bloc in Union Sq. Their bakery supplier Forge is in-between them near the intersection of Elm and Somerville Ave.
Not really. The law requires that the $ is earmarked only for daily operations *if* state agencies lay off workers. It's a provision to maintain the workforce.
