Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Kept looking at this building from my outside dinner spot last weekend, wasn't sure if it was lighted or if those gold bars were a different material catching the sunlight. It's subtle but I like it.

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

I'm really liking this building (buildings). I work in the area an have been watching it go up for the last couple of months.

Been watching this building go up every day, may go take more pics tomorrow.

American Repertory Theater | 175 North Harvard Street | Allston

That's going to be a huge number of new residents living in Barry's Corners. Prep for demolition of the existing 175 N Harvard building starts on July 5th with the structure coming down in Oct. I live in the Continuum, we were sent a packet by Harvard. I'm a bit sad because I love their...

Bay Village Apartment Tower | 212 Stuart St. | Bay Village

It also looks like, in the render, the top of the building had screens (to cover the mechanicals?) which were replaced with fake windows. The windows now continue to the top of the building. Also, the back section of the building projected out on the right side in the render, it's now recessed...

Bay Village Apartment Tower | 212 Stuart St. | Bay Village

It's also nearly identical to the photo used for the original rendering (posted early on in this thread). I wanted to take a similar pic but KZ beat me to it. I walk by this building all the time and have been up and down about it.

WBZ-TV/CBS Studio Development Project | 1170-2000 Soldiers Field Road | Allston

I wish it were ALL residential. It would be nice if it was something that provided a connection between the Lower Allston neighborhood and the park across Soldiers Field Road. Of course it would need better pedestrian access across the road, of which there is almost none at the moment. And as...

Harvard SEC (Science & Engineering Complex) | Western Ave | Allston

Note that I was responding to criticism of the screen. I agree that underneath it's a pretty pedestrian buillding. Late last night I drove down Windon Street toward the building and was suprised at how large it looks from that approach. It looks massive, almost like a large industrial plant...

Harvard SEC (Science & Engineering Complex) | Western Ave | Allston

I have not checked out the back of the building yet, but did want to comment that when the screen was first going up I really disliked it. Since then it has really grown on me and does look much better in person. It takes on different qualities depending on the light and can be quite beautiful...

    Allston-Brighton Infill and Small Developments

Saw this proposal for 525 Lincoln Street (Lincoln at Cambridge Street) on Universal Hub a few weeks ago, was waiting for it to show up here. It would be nice to see something happen with this area, although I'm not sure how I feel about this proposal yet. My partner lived in a brownstone one...

    Harvard - Allston Campus

The Deli is nearing completion, the ice cream shop is just a pop-up thing to utilize the space. I'm not sure why that bay has not been rented yet, I think Harvard is involved and is being choosey in who/what they bring in. I wish there was another cafe in the area but with Harvard being involved...

    Grand Prix of Boston

Yikes, more details on Casey and the Boston Grand Prix: http://www.wcvb.com/article/boston-grand-prix-free-spending-detailed/8501129 - - - - "So where did all the money go? Records show the company spent nearly $20,000 on luxury boxes at the Boston Garden for a Bruins game and a Bruce...

    Allston-Brighton Infill and Small Developments

I haven't been down there in a while but there is large garage under the building and the last time I looked it was mostly empty. You can currently park there for 8.00 a day, which is inexpensive. There's also parking around the building at Harvard managed meters which are free for the first...

    Allston-Brighton Infill and Small Developments

This is an exciting development for the neighborhood. I currently go to the TJs in Coolidge Corner or the one in Cambridge. Now I'll be able to take the elevator down to do my grocery shopping (I live in the Continuum). Hopefully this will bring in other businesses, we could use another café...
