    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Not unrealistic due to Breeze having only having 22 A220's in service (68 on order) and the Embraer aircraft going away later this year. It still amazes me on how they keep adding destinations and routes with a limited amount of aircraft and it must be a logistical headache especially when...

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Thanks guys! I deleted my post last night after more research revealed the Breeze route between PVD and LAX realizing that Portland is only around 60 miles further east. All of my anxiety on whether the A220 could reach the other coast from PWM is now gone. My only concern was our runway...

Tallest building in town, can you name the city?

This 275' art deco inspired tower is located in a city of less than 100K where one of it's claims to fame comes from a well known board game.

I actually gave up because there was not a cash prize offer on the table for all of the mind numbing research that would be required to find this needle in a haystack! Good one Mark. :)

165 Washington Ave | Northern Burner Supply Redevelopment | Portland

I saw them and Jonathan told me they were planning to release them last week. Not sure what the delay is though he did mention there were some height issues that would need to be resolved.

Let me rephrase my couch statement to I will miss how comfortable they actually were! :)

It is in the upper concourse to the left of Starbucks around where the new terminal addition starts. I'll miss those big couches and you have to be departing on a flight to be able to see the exhibit. I wonder if Linda Bean's Lobster Cafe will remain open now that she has passed? Have a safe...

I am still surprised the no airline has taken advantage of Florida's east coast destinations (non stop) such as PBI, FLL or MIA. Does American Eagle still serve MIA on a seasonal basis?

Any cannibalization would be minimum with the drain coming from the Waterville north area, Augusta south would still choose PWM. And you nailed it, Bangor will continue to benefit from its Canadian friends to the east!

Good for Bangor, maybe Breeze will eventually give low class Allegiant the boot out of Bunyonville!!

Very impressive detail from a 3D flight simulator from Contrail who gathers imagery from airports all over the world and have recently added PWM to their airport options.

I've taken off from SNA and it's an adventure! Key West is another example with an even shorter runway (5076') and has mainline service by Delta, American and Allegiant with the A321 the largest aircraft currently being used. DCA's runway is 7169', LGA's is 7003' and MDW is 6522' for three...

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

This is the area at PWM that has safety distance limitations imposed by the FAA (all airports have to conform) due to positioning of the aircraft tails, ramp vehicle movement and an active taxiway. The black and yellow line is the absolute limit for aircraft movement on the taxiway due to...

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

The real main issue is the distance between the taxiway and the parked aircraft for safe movement along with the tight fit of the apron and close proximity of the terminal would not allow for an additional 15'. The cargo activity at MHT and BTV are much more extensive than Portland with both...
