I wonder how contactless fees compare against increased usage & fare evasion. I think just tapping your phone (not even having to activate Apple Pay/Google whatever) makes it so easy to pay that it's a no brainer to take the subway. There's no longer the hurdle of tourists/first time users...

are they doing anything outside of its name to help the music community here? If you have a name as bad as Lyrik, you better have some practice rooms or a basement venue space for students.

Really interesting map here. I find a fantasy MBTA map funny when it does nothing to service southie, but I love the amount of connections here. Still would think some more current green line connections would really build out this map (as well as southie), but I'm biased

excited to see this completed! currently that stretch is either just people flooring it or BC Football parking, so i'm glad there will be more use outside of just that .

Looks like the BPL is auctioning off renaming stations on a (truncated) T map as a fundraiser. Pretty fun idea. Thoughts on potential renaming? As iconic as it is, changing Park to Boston Common might be the only way to help out-of-towners and suburbanites to finally get the name correct.

I was just thinking that. the black steel is a great way to make a generic glass tower have more depth and stand out from the rest. Wonder what it would look like for other colors as well, wouldn't mind having a bright yellow, green, red exterior frame to differentiate from blue glass in the city
