SBWTC /South Boston Waterfront Transportation Center | Seaport

Thank god architecture nerds don't have furries.

Oh...

Oh no...

Bumping an old thread, but I was on a walk in Seaport and caught a lot of the new walkways that keep popping up in Seaport, after checking out a few of the new buildings going up.

I was quickly perturbed and confused as to what the meaning behind "Transportation Center" in inherent, branding, and so on, was? A center for transportation when it seems to be a center for parking cars, and yes, it is close to WTC SL, ferries, and such, but I would say those Transportation modes are actually not on site, and adjacent. So what is the center of the "Transportation"? It seems this was just another stupid branding job by Massport to name a parking garage money grab on their air rights, and dupe people into thinking it's more than an overpriced parking garage? Anyone know if there's an actual Transportation ambition for this "Transportation center"? Lol.
