Both sites are right on the greenway so these are extremely pronounced. Getting rid of these will be huge. After theyre gone all eyes should be on the aquarium garage to finally go away ..

The Dock Square project is so ridiculous. They're just adding a couple of apartments on top and covering the garage with perforated metal panels.

May I nominate the PI alley garage on Washington for redevelopment based on its general ugliness, sheer inefficiency of parking provided per area, central location, and in the interest of eventually extending the DTX pedestrian zone to City Hall Plaza?

Add in the the long stalled but approved Motor Mart and BXP Back Bay Proposals...

Vermillion is open till 10 most days still. Shame there’s not enough traffic to justify later hours even on the weekend. Shame that “the connector” has such limited traffic, overall. Would love for it to become a truly vibrant all-night congregation spot, but I think it’s more likely that in a couple years they rethink it and it winds up being one or two coffee shops for daytime office workers and maybe a smaller version of Vermillion.

Damn, that's some beautiful lighting on the United Shoe Machinery Building, shows it's decorative gold top perfectly! The old John Hancock at one time had amazing lighting like this building, why it's not lit up anymore is a mystery!

Well, that's certainly a let down after the nearly 3 years it's been since they failed at installing the first iteration... I have to assume all of the budget for this got eaten up in the legal wrangling over who was responsible for replacing it. Not much hope this is temporary then?
