Lynn infill and small developments

Absolutely. I know this is far off crayoning, but sending the blue line up Lynnway puts you much closer to the center of density

Ah! Behold! Another ‘Let ‘em Eat Cake’ redevelopment project for the angry wealthy retirees. Let me guess? Condos? Craft Brews? Something artisan?

Sorry. Just venting at banality.

I think Everett has gotten way too many individual threads for buildings that architecturally are unimpressive blobs. Good development and housing contributions, but nothing special. I personally think the uniqueness of contribution, and location, should also factor into what gets its own thread. For Boston and Cambridge, developments should tend to get their own threads because these are the cores of the city. The rest can be lumped in more than they are. One man’s opinion.
Developments that have a uniqueness of contribution, location, and then size should have their own thread. I am not sure everyone is going to agree about that every time. I think that a small upscale hotel in the South End that fills in a gap tooth should have a thread, but a bigger hotel in Framingham probably shouldn't.

Yes, and for the station just span the entire road to give access to both sides.

You might even decide to stay over the Lynnway all the way up to Market Street -- and add a second station near the Ferry terminal at Blossom Street.
The next few decades it will be a busway not light rail. A Blue line busway along the abandoned Blue line ROW would be a lot less expensive and could be phased in.

I don't think the ROW up Revere Beach through Point of Pines is wide enough for a busway? The Lynn Revere Beach rail was narrow gauge (it was double tracked though). It also has at least one major encumbrance that need to be fixed.

Just noticed this 4 story mixed use building at 13 Nahant Street, replacing a detached house. I really like the way this building rounds out the Washington Square streetscape, it is large enough to mesh nicely with the buildings around it. Makes this area look like a more cohesive place visually.

Soon there should be a North Harbor Implementation Plan, and hopefully a Lynnway redesign with bus lanes.
