We are even. You beat me to Coney Island Hotdogs! If that building isn't landmarked, it ought to be.
Worcester has some great buildings. I wonder if the Aurora Hotel is still around? It was a cool building and had a great lazy art deco script sign that said "Aurora Bar". 30 plus years since I last set eyes on it!

P.S. any bar sign that says "Ladies Invited" is a winner.

lol! I'll have to look for such a sign, an old one of course! Where was,is the Aurora Hotel?next time I'm in Worcester I'll look for it. One from Dot

I love the juxtaposition of "Pizza -- Subs," "Fitness Center," and "Plus Sizes."

Only in America.

I love old signs! I don't get out of town that much, other than occasionally to various tracks, local airports, the beach. I have a collection of 20's-50's porcelain automobile related signs, some paper, some cloth banners, but I've run out of space. Nonetheless, I keep buying the shit, and leaning it up against the wall somewhere.

My brother just finished driving from LA to Chicago on Route 66, but didn't see fit to take pictures. He must have been a basket infant on the family doorstep.

You sound like me I have a 15 rm house and not an inch of space left, but I still buy if I like it! I was thinking of phtographing some of my old signs and posting them, you should do the same I like to see them!
