I'll probably be working, so I'll be there. Black shirt, big nose. Sexy.

HAHAHA! Scalie NIMBYS. I'm do they complain about shadows as much since they're only 2D?

Yeah, this: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.392065,-71.08494,3a,75y,57.07h,82.13t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sR6rYgwDGV5spoZ0lyWCCVA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 With it being a holiday week I'm only working like two days, so I've had lots of picture and wandering time. It's actually kind of slow today, I assume...

I like these far better than your previous attempts, Shep. Why not three or four stories, though?

I typically tell people I live in The Real World: Disney. The giraffe and AVAs loby reinforce that. It's freaking weird, but its also really, really nice. Another of my friends says it reminds her of new developments in Maryland, which I totally get. As for groceries, the K-Mart is getting...

I'll also add that strip malls typically don't have a riverfront lined with restaurants and bars that are packed to the gills every night of the week. The most amazing thing to me is how freaking packed this place is all the time. It's only four blocks. Also, walking across the river to Station...

They're from the ford plant, although not in their original location. They also have the old water tower, disassembled. In some renders of the partners building you can are they plan to put it back up in front of the parking garage.

Yeah, it's the weakest of the buildings. I don't know what you could really do with a theater wall, though. The only real architecture in Assembly is the office building. Avalon isn't too bad, while AVA (my building) is pretty much cardboard. Can't beat the park, though. I'm only in my...

I'm working behind the bar at the Beat Brasserie (nee Beat Hotel, same owners as the Beehive) in Harvard. Most of the days you guys want to meet up doesn't work for me, but if that was used as a venue I could chat for a bit. Wednesday and Thursday we don't get a crowd till late. You could take...

Needs a dirty trijet spewing jet fuel all over the place. (Honestly I love those old 70s photos of jets a few feet over wood island.)

    NYC Transit

Next time Rif is in the city I hope he takes the A train up into Washington heights. Or stops into the Port Authority. Yeah, NYC runs a great service. But then stuff tourists don't see is really, really gross.

Acela & Amtrak NEC (HSR BOS-NYP-WAS and branches only)

Good to hear this is probably a one-off. Right after I typed that I went into the bathroom and a compartment behind the toilet swung open while I was using it. Twilight zone.

Has anyone else ridden the acella lately? I haven't in about a year and holy shit are they falling apart. Dirt, grime, and worn surfaces everywhere. The ride's still pretty nice, but I feel like I'm in someone's 90s beater pickup truck.

It would be nice of they transformed that dreary area by the post office and dunkies into a smaller food court. There's already a pizza place there. Its really the speed more than anything, it's one of the very few places i know I can walk to, order, and walk back in a 15 minute break.

It's CBT. This is basically what I expected from them. They are the crate and barrell of architecture.

Re: Artists for Humanity - 100 W. 2nd I just feel like there's no way they will pull this off in a way that looks good.
