I think it’s pretty simple. If you’re talking about doing something for a company or a public private partnership, that leads to any nuisance for the surrounding neighborhood, people should have a much greater say in that decision than they should in something that truly improves the common...

Agree… I wish they’d try to make a real linear park the entire length, by consolidating the greenspace rather than having thin strips of single rows of trees. We all know vulnerable to salt damage those tend to be, and they don’t amount to useable greenspace, either. That second bike lane ROW...

It's a pretty major addition. Hopefully will look nice from afar, and hopefully will be nice at the street level, but just the act of filling in this space ought to be hugely influential to this area.

Wow. Hadn't seen it from this vantage yet. Definitely dominates, but extends the high spine and will be a nice reminder that as we head south now on Mass Ave, we will be heading toward an urban area instead of a gaping hole and view of a highway.
