Today's Herald article on the topping off ceremony referred to the new building as being 528' tall.

It would appear that the main part of the structure/framework is really around the same height as the Sudbury, with the thinner core section and the fins being the only difference in terms of height.

Will the steel framing go all the way to the very top where the core is smaller for the last couple of floors?

The downtown skyline is really going to perk up with the addition of this as well as South Station and Winthrop which are both closer to 700'.

I guess I kind of consider Storrow already being a quasi-highway and was just thinking it wouldn't hurt to take several thousand cars a day off of the central artery which isn't exactly without its' own traffic headaches. Even disregarding any shift in traffic from the Pike, wouldn't it still...

It's really too bad that they couldn't somehow configure a direct connection from the Pike EB to Storrow Dr EB where you wouldn't have to go through any traffic lights or intersections. I think a lot of people would get off there and take Storrow to the Tobin Bridge, Everrett, Somerville, etc...
