I don't think it's fair to lump all urban success principals into a tower, and particularly not what was proposed. The podium was insane and wouldn't have been green lit in any real city. I also don't think it's fair to categorize resistance to that project as "small-town backwards mentality."...

I'm actually a fan of most of the new builds on Brook but, for me, this one is a real bummer from a design pov.

Nah it’s a much better place for height. I hope they improve the design. ZDS doesn’t have a great reputation. I know I shouldn’t complain about housing but crossing my fingures for something that looks a little less Alkron circa 1995. Especially with so many actual good proposals in the pipeline.
