Columbus Park is great. They have a ton of events there and a lot of people use during the warmer months. The Greenway Conservancy is working with the city to tie in events and such with the Columbus park.

If they can get a Federal capital grant to extend the blue line to Lynn, then they will do it. Right now however I think all of the Federal money for the time being is tied up with the Green Line expansion to Medford. It will be at least 20 years before we see an actual solid plan for the Blue...

Van, One thing I would try to avoid is branching the Green line too much. As it is, it is very difficult for the MBTA to run trains on a fixed schedule or at least without delays. In fact everyday is a learning experience for them on the Green line.
