I always thought that the GLX should have been Blue. Alot of other cities do the U shape. And Somerville and Medford definitely could have used heavier rail.

My ebike was under a $1,000 and my throttle can get up to almost 35mph and even a little faster with pedal assist. The trails out here in North Central Mass are alot quieter but you get those slow families going for a stroll where they take up the whole path in both directions and their kids...

I just don't get the issues with extending downtown/financial district south from South Station towards the highway building in-between the highway and ramps and if possible over some of it. It's almost like prime location realastate without nimbus.

I could be wrong but this was the image that made it look like the Archway area is an open to the outside hallway with automatic doors on both sides, 1 to the main station and the other to the train platforms. But another another image posted afterwards shows an Acela Train open to the Archway...

From the above render it appears you wait inside South Station main concourse to see the Train board then when the platform is announced you run outside through a wind tunnel to only enter another door to where the platforms are??? What's the reasoning for that Archway area to be outside...

Yeah looks like the Atlantic side or we're getting a new tower next to this one according to that render. :)

If it's such a big concern couldn't they have them at the docks you would rent it with the bike?

Will there be an entrance on the Summer Street side near that Arch? If not what a missed opportunity for commuters who rather walk then take the Silver Lie to the Seaport and Ft Point.

First. Is there really now website for Boston that lists stuff like this for tourists and other visitors??? If not then there definitely should be a list compiled of all observation decks and other great view sites within and around the city. All the understandable miff about costs brings up...

Wish the neighborhood was a little denser and taller but for what it is it could be alot worse and it has a nice unique park in its core and like they say in real state... Location Location Location. You can't beat how close this area is to both the CBD of Boston and Kendall Square.

Does Worcester get all the chopped off height from new Boston towers cause that building in the 3rd photo looks an awful like the missing height from the Winthrop Sq Tower. 🥸
