It is Mercy's new Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Time & Temp Building / Brown St. Parking Garage Redevelopment | Portland

The fact that this is being planned at all makes me excited. Hell, I wish that it was more stories too. But at this point I'll take what we can get.

    Thompson's Point, Portland

If you go some of the other tabs, it shows the after square footage compared to the before on the site. Looks like nothing major, maybe another floor?

    Shipyard Brewery | Cambria Suites | 86 Newbury Street | Covetrus | 12 Mountfort Street | Portland

I second this. Now what would be great is the city to take advantage of this opportunity and highly incentivize development of housing, taller buildings and company relocating

    Falmouth Shopping Center Redevelopment

Well we will see if the NIMBYs allow for this to happen! I like it though. A good first step. Falmouth has tons of potential for development.

Rock Row (née The Ridge, née Dirigo Plaza) | Westbrook, ME

At the end of the day, I'm just happy this project is coming out to be anything that resembles the original proposal. As we know, big proposals in Portland/large development areas (see Thompsons Point) tend to falter. Seems like these guys know what they're doing.

Canopy Portland Waterfront | 1 Center Street | Portland

This will look great, particularly with Portland Square development taking off behind it.

    Hobson's Landing | Aloft Hotel | 383 Commercial Street | Portland

Commercial street is filling out greatly. Along with the parking lots across the city being filled in. Love to see it

Canal Plaza Renovations & New Mixed-Use Tower | Portland

This is really interesting! I could see it being delayed for some time. Perhaps Portland will become even more desirable for investment? We aren't densely populated at all, yet hours from other very dense areas. Investment wise, it could make sense. The tower certainly will not be happening...

Canal Plaza Renovations & New Mixed-Use Tower | Portland

This project is almost for sure dead. Anyone else think otherwise? At least for the next couple years.

Infill and Small Developments | Portland

This is a huge waste of valuable downtown space. Really a shame to see this go up. It could have been 3-4 story apartments/condos.

    Portland Square Redevelopment | Portland

This is great! I think this project will add so much to downtown.

210 Valley St | Avesta Housing | Portland

Its going to be a nice addition to the area, much needed housing near Maine Medical

    Hobson's Landing | Aloft Hotel | 383 Commercial Street | Portland

It's coming along very well. Large and extends commercial street in a meaningful way. I liked the aesthetic of the lumber yard, but this is way more modern and fits a growing city.

Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

I wouldn't say skyscrapers, but we have some larger buildings going up. A lot of 4-7 story structures. A couple that are more in the 8-10 range. Apparently Canal Plaza and another project could push the limit of 15+ stories. We will see.
