Somerville’s getting a brand new bike path with the Green Line extension. Is it wide enough?
The idea that we will care about whether this cost $2.3bn or $2.8bn 30 years from now aside, in how many places is it truly too narrow for wider than 10 ft?
Including views of the cut-through/lobby next door for comparison, as well as the one across the street at 160 Federal that I used to use to get over to High St in the winter:
Well, at least they drew in a buffered bike lane (though not a cycle track). Are they building it, or are they assuming the city will?
