I've been asked a few times by the same homeless guy thats usually around City Hall if I "wanted to kick his ass for a buck." One of those funny/sad moments. And how could we forget Spare Change Guy who's usually heard from about a block away somewhere between Bowdoin Square and Park Street...

Awesome. I love pictures that show views that very few people will ever see first hand. I love fresh looks at familiar places, like this one.

I had to read that twice, then laughed, and then stopped laughing because they're actually serious. Providing they look decent, townhouse style buildings could lend something different to the area. Of course, at this point, I've all but completely given up on the waterfront.

The thing about that picture, kz1000ps, is that though I know where that location is, it could just as easily be anywhere else in the world. I wonder if that was your intent in taking this shot? Of course I mean no words of malintent to your photo. 8)

Apparently the scaffolding collapse hadn't put this project on permanent hold because in this past week's Beacon Hill Times, I found an article titled "Emerson moves toward becoming a residential college." The article speaks mostly about Emerson housing students in the past and the theater...

That's mostly true. They renovated the John Adams Courthouse next door, but didn't seem to touch the tower at all. I believe it was several years ago that in the tower, they replaced all the air circulation/ventilation/filtration because people were literally getting sick from breathing in...
