50 West Street is quite striking in person. What comes through somewhat in your images is how the individual units give the building a lot of movement. I don’t know if that was intentional.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

The biggest issue I see with the main terminal is that they crowd the center area with the concessions. It makes the whole thing cluttered and claustrophobic. Get rid of all that and make it an airy waiting area. There is plenty of underutilized spaces on the perimeter for a coffee shop and...

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

I’m pleasantly surprised by the impact it is having from many angles. I initially thought it would be a noticeable but “filler” building like so many skyscrapers in the CBD. It’s clearly a standout.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

That’s probably the best vantage point of SST to see how it will interact with its neighbors. I like it!

I wonder how these stores will do. When there is already so much of a Google presence in everyone’s lives already, will people like this idea? To me, this is another example of the Amazon Bookstore — wipe out bookstores everywhere with your online presence and then suddenly open one. Guilty...

Is that the final appearance of the glass or is that a film? The renderings suggest a transparent glass rather than a reflective mirror.

It looks unfinished -- looks hope that is the case.

Boston University - Warren Towers Renovation | 700 Commonwealth Avenue | Fenway

I wonder if they should have gone with green instead of red akin to the Law Tower and then red up the Comm Ave facing windows.

Boston University - Warren Towers Renovation | 700 Commonwealth Avenue | Fenway

Better defined cornice on the lower levels but please tell me they plan to address those awnings and replace them. Better yet, remove them all together and add in appropriate building-enhancing awnings where needed around entrances. Ironically, the only section of the building left uncovered...

It is not near BU so that seems a bit odd, unless it is open for students at BU medical school.

Is it truly economics or more to do with a historic pre-war style unique to NYC, particularly UWS/UES? Where in Boston would these types of buildings naturally fit outside the Back Bay, which has no parcels for development? Perhaps anything Boston Common adjacent.
