Thank you for digging into this! It will take a lot of work to remove all these roadblocks to housing.

Some newer developments in Boston ban residents at that address from getting on-street parking permits to try and avoid this issue.

Idea for fixing the housing shortage

Has there been any talk about removing parking minimums at the state level? Minnesota introduced a bill earlier this year that does such a thing. https://minnesotareformer.com/2024/01/23/dfl-lawmakers-to-introduce-bill-to-ban-parking-minimums-statewide/...

I'm looking at the project site right now, is there an official "leave a comment" section on there?

MBTA Fare System (Charlie, AFC 2.0, Zone, Discounts)

I would pay my fare more if there were some fare readers on surface level green line stops. The B line could use some love from the T

    Biking in Boston

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But more seriously, touching any of the signal equipment will most likely trigger a requirement to bring everything up to code with ADA/PROWAG. That's just my guess, I really don't have a good sense of how our signals compare to other cities in the US.

    Biking in Boston

Exactly. I'm a little disappointed that the Memorial Drive DCR project is still going to leave the path as a 10' SUP. Even if it gets widened, it would have been nice to have separate paths. It's a shame that some of the other improvements, like the bike underpass, have kind of stalled out...

The esplanade paths are too narrow for the amount of people walking/walking their dogs/running/biking/roller blading on them.

Multi-Family Zoning Requirements for MBTA Communities

I'm surprised that some of the more NIMBY communities haven't tried to do some "paper compliance" like re-zoning parcels that have just gotten redeveloped. I haven't been following each town/city super closely, but it seems like an easy-ish way to keep the all the grant money flowing while...

I feel the same way about Clyde/Lee St in Brookline. The inconsistent sidewalk is a pain in the butt and there's a lot of opportunity there for improvements.

Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike Parcel 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

Does anyone know what the final configuration of the bridge is going to be? I like the extra space for pedestrians with the lane closure right now.

Does anyone know the if there's been any progress with the Comm Ave Phase 3 & 4 project? Seems like it would require a lot involvement from the T, so BTD couldn't do this one without a lot of funding from the state. https://www.boston.gov/departments/public-works/commonwealth-avenue-phase-3-and-4
