Your latest punch list update. The benches at the lechmere busway were for some reason cantilevered (!) off the bus stop wall. After a few months to a year the screws gave out and the bench was sagging. Someone has finally gone in and given the benches some wooden posts.

I don't understand why the height has to step down to the waterfront. I'm confused what that does. There's always this talk of stepping down but it seems like just a gambit to limit height.

Tack on West Station there. I agree GL to Nubian is necessary, but I don't think we'll get it. I also never hear any buzz about BLX to lynn either.

This came up a year ago. A lot of commenters here are of the opinion that those routes can/should not be rerouted.

Apologies if this has been posted already and I don't have a photo, but I got to use the new bike lanes on Memorial Drive around the BU bridge. They are awesome! I wish I had them when I was regularly using that stretch of road. It is too bad someone had to give their life to build them.

Work with a developer to use 1/2 the footprint to build apartments, 1/2 for a surface boulevard? Then we can get it for free.

If this is where I think it is, the existing building is a very cute brownstone, but crap on the inside. BU is probably itching to demo it.

If we ever decide to go a grand experiment like this I would be the first person to move in. Doesn’t have to be in western mass, either. I’d live in a Chinese mega city in Everett if the rent was cheap. I’ll eat the bugs. Sign me up.

It makes me think there’s serious money to be made in government contracting like this. Obviously there are ridiculously hard aspects to it that escalate the cost. But some smart guy with a bunch of money should try to get some people together and bid way closer to the true cost.

Time for one of you guys to step up! Kidding lol, you definitely need serious experience in the non-profit industrial complex to be considerd.
