Sure, I'd like to see a brand new stadium built a lot closer to the city that had a retractable roof so Boston could host the Super Bowl, Men's NCAA Final Four and WrestleMania. Adjusted for inflation, the cost to build Gillette is something like $525m. To build a modern 65-70k stadium, and one...

I wouldn't be surprised if they did bring back service to Toronto (they hit 80.92% lf in 2022). WestJet had success on their seasonal service to Calgary they launched last year. It ran from late June through Early September and saw 91.52% load factor. This year, they began the seasonal service...

It's an actual percentage based on dividing the number of passengers by the number of seats offered. So it accounts for differences in air craft used. I cannot say that all of these numbers are 100% accurate because I believe a lot of it is based on airlines reporting, but these numbers at the...

From a logistics of hosting events (namely an event like the upcoming World Cup) and a pure location standpoint, it would have been nice if Gillette were a bit closer to Boston. However, think of how much prime space that the stadium and associated parking lots would have occupied? I don't mind...

Norse is launching service from Gatwick to Boston starting in September, so it's only going to be tougher sledding for JetBlue. JetBlue is also using A321s with less seats than the other carriers who are using B763/B764/B772/B77W/B788/B789/B78X/A333/A339/A388. This fact only magnifies how poor...

Lisbon has been very popular the last year or so. Delta saw load factors - 94.71% in September and 92.27% on October on their BOS-LIS service. I pulled those numbers from the DOT T-100s. TAP was at 89.87% for September, 85.68% for October and 83.44% for November.

I wonder what took them so long to replace this bridge? Aside from the needed height increase from 12'3' to 14', the span itself is will be wider to allow for sidewalks and improve pedestrian access under the bridge. That's a win. Current: Future:

You wouldn't need to completely demolish all of the terminal C. Just the areas in yellow. Apart from the piers, Massport has either rebuilt and expanded, or optimized large portions of C. The new B to C connector. The C to E optimization. A consolidated and expanded security checkpoint. The...
