Hood Business Park | 480-570 Rutherford Avenue | Charlestown

Rutherford Ave has to be one of, if not the most egregiously over engineered/built urban arteries in the country. Was there anytime, perhaps pre CA/T completion, that it actually carried the amount of vehicles it can accommodate? Every time I drive on it it seems like I am practically the only...

Arsenal Yards | Arsenal Mall Redevelopment | Watertown

What is the project in the post immediately above? I don't believe it's part of the Arsenal Yards development.

    Everett Infill and Small Developments

Weird because this pause implies they didn't think to study the best uses for the site before filing the initial plans...

Somerville High School Renovation & Expansion | 81 Highland Ave | Somerville

Man - this project is a real testament to the demographic shift (for the upwardly mobile) Somerville has seen since I was a kid (graduated from Winchester HS in '09). We used to joke about "Slumerville" even as we drove to Davis Square to hang out for lunch and on weekend. Yes, I understand the...

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Memorial Drive is the best angle for this I've seen so far, as so many of the others are obscured. Thanks for the pics, DZH!

    Park 151 | 151 N First Street | Cambridge Crossing | East Cambridge

I don't think we know, most of the remaining parcels are resi and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be similarly tall or taller, esp along the property line with the commuter rail maintenance facility. But they haven't released final designs so we'll wait and see...

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Remember how people used to cite "Manhattanization" as a terrible worry to avoid at all costs? I wonder if they object to this project's very constrained/dense site and how it comes up so close to its neighbors. It truly does remind me of Manhattan levels of density, which is pretty neat - not...

Middlesex County Courthouse Redevelopment | 40 Thorndike St | East Cambridge

I believe the uppermost floors were built as jail cells and therefore not good candidates for adaptive reuse

Longwood Place (Simmons Residential Campus) | 305 Brookline Avenue | Longwood

Was just thinking the same thing - Boston is on a roll and has been for quite a while now!
