Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

Re: Congress Street Garage Development | West End Re-establish Hanover Street through the plaza, tear down the low rise portion of the JFK and build on both sides. It'll be like Scollay Square on steroids!

    Recent underrated projects

4 projects that did not get enough props when built, so I'll give some now. 1. Hayward Place. It took forever to fill this lot but the end result was worth it. I love the dark glass. Extends Downtown Crossing and links it with the area around Millennium Place and beyond. 2. Liberty Mutual...

    Aerials

^I love aerials from this angle. The city looks very dense with an impressive skyline from here. It will look all the more powerful when the pike is covered (both ends).

Say something good about One Beacon Street

Its better than 1 Federal and some of the other towers. That said, its unfortunate that it sort of stands alone in its area of the skyline. Its a nice filler building but its position makes it stand out.

The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: One Seaport Square | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport I never had a problem with how the Seaport is shaping up. Its not the Back Bay or North End, but no one is building neighborhoods like that anymore. And as others have noted, we already have those neighborhoods and the Seaport will be...

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

The only possibility is to build tall over the pike. That would link the 2 skylines from certain angles.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

^Wow, I was just thinking about this project the other day. I wanted to ask about it in the Project X thread, but I didn't know what to call it, and I couldn't find the old thread. Thanks! :D

    Post Cards of Boston 1900's-1990

Well, yeah, but why was it considered a good idea to tear it down to build a suburban office building?

    Post Cards of Boston 1900's-1990

Why was the Madison torn down? It came down only in 1983, well past the gory days of urban renewal.
