I miss Liquids in Beacon Hill near the Commons. Buddy and I were just talking about it the other day and all the great memories we had of our youth there.
Post above^ 👍👍👍👍👍
Exactly. Boston with some height mixed in is the goal not parking lots with single towers. Boston has the walkable best Street scapes and adding height here and there would blow us up to the top because of the 2. It's not an either or situation. It's what can make this great...
If the floor height was to the stop of the building so what an extra 100ft about? I think this would have been phenomenal of a cluster with the Sudbury and future high rises.
Height variation in a skyline is what really makes it pop in my opinion. The fact that Boston constantly "buzz cuts" alot in each neighborhood is what annoys me on skyline perspective. The Seaport is prime example. Ok so there is a FAA height limit here and I get that but the fact that every...
Is there data accessible anywhere that shows approximately the numbers at each T stop(all modes) from where trips originated and their destination? I'm assuming most likely not as the T doesn't do zone fares through out the system.
Thank God Boston isn't in the North East or there would have been some missed opportunity for not having the whole bus stop area covered to shield the winters.
With all this new housing along RT1 and traffic already being really bad they should have designed a new lane separated BRT line with 2 branches to the south. 1 connecting to the Blue Line and the other to the Orange Line at Malden Center.
I've always been irked by the way RT1 has been...
I kinda wish they did something big and iconic for the T station. The station has 2 subway lines and alot of buses. It would have been neat if they could have incorporated the history of Hay Market with artwork and it's design to tell it's story. Boston has some of the best history of this...
Harvard University should have known & acted better. They need a good transit option for commuting between 3 of their biggest campuses. Their shuttles are.... I mean were great long long ago before all 3 of these campuses existed together but come on between students, faulcaty(sp?)...
Maybe it's was the company Car Gurus name I'm thinking of. This is a neighborhood that is getting a major positive change and with that I feel the building or buildings should have a proper name to acknowledge who/what made that happen.
Does this project not have a name for the building yet? I feel like it did a while back.
IDK why but calling it Parcel 12 after the construction has started really grinds my gears.
