Why just go DMUs to Lynn? If you're just doing dmu service and not full blue extension, then at least go to Salem too, with Peabody/Danvers potentially added later on. Besides, how could they turn DMUs at Lynn anyways? That pretty much abandoned yard at Salem station would work perfect

Unless you're headed across the river, then there's no point in extending the Green Line past the yard in the first place. With easy transfers to the OL possible at North Station and Haymarket it's a waste of money regardless of how cheap/easy it would be to extend it there.

With all the talk about extending night hours for the subway you would think the CR would be looking to add later trains not take them away.

Just got this game the other day, looks like I have to try this out. Was wondering if something like this was possible

Why exactly is this a required service when it loses so much money? Is there any real way to make it profitable or at least closer to break even? Started looking into the service more, and I can't wrap my head around why the T is cutting fares for it. It's not like loosing ridership is costing...

I still think suburban malls would make awesome anchors for RT service in the way long run. Would be interesting to see what blue line to the North Shore Mall and Red Line to the Burlington Mall (if that's even possible, or at least with some form of bus transfer) would be like.
