Northeastern University - Institutional Master Plan

Speaking of these buildings, they’ve added some colors with country names to the stairs for commencement. It’s a nice little pop.

Concrete poured and some landscaping planted.

Northeastern University - Institutional Master Plan

This is already kinda sorta enacted. The Sheraton (now dubbed 39 Dalton to make it sound more like a dorm and not a hotel) is currently housing NU students and is fully staffed by university residential life staff. Looks like this might be a proposal to formalize the decision.

EXP | 795 Columbus Avenue | Northeastern University

Sidewalk work in progress. Pictures only show the work in between ISEC and EXP, but there’s also some work happening at the front of the building as well. Construction fence was pushed out slightly to accommodate that work.

Wentworth Mixed-Use Life Sciences Complex | 500 Huntington Ave | Fenway

Wasn't referring more so to a lot of the buildings along Columbus Ave adjacent to the Lightview building.

Things aren't even cheapened in places - they're just deliberately wrong. Certain buildings that are no more than 4 stories tall look like they go up at least 12 stories. EDIT: Also lol, they turned East Village into a giant concrete slab for some reason.

    The Official MBTA System Map

Saw this alternate map on Reddit by /u/Gamereric21. Looked really sharp.

    Better MBTA Station Names

Rename Mass Ave to Matthews maybe, in honor of Matthews Arena (original home to the Bruins and Celtics). That way, Mass Ave is cleared up to be used in renaming Hynes. EDIT: Seems as if @bigeman312 had the same idea as me.

    Better MBTA Station Names

Newbury/Esplanade or Newbury/Berklee don't seem too fitting for the current Prudential stop, Berklee is just as close to the Symphony and Hynes stops as it is to the Prudential stop and the Esplanade (and Newbury, for that matter) is closer to many more stops on the GL than the Prudential.

If it was spring, surely a date would have been announced already.

New Red and Orange Line Cars

And this has relation to the OL train cars how...?

EXP | 795 Columbus Avenue | Northeastern University

Only a pedestrian dead end on days when the building is closed (aka either Sundays or holidays when the university is closed). It is open to the public Monday-Saturday. NU card access is also not for all NU students, but only those conducting research inside ISEC.

New Red and Orange Line Cars

It would have taken all of two seconds to actually just find it yourself in the "Transit and Infrastructure" section, instead of just complaining and saying to "Deal with it."

EXP | 795 Columbus Avenue | Northeastern University

Not a huge fan of this side of the building; the transition from the angled fins to a giant mass of straight fins is really jarring. The electric blue glass on the left is really cool, though. On an unrelated note, FWIW, there are spots for them to install addition fins near the top of the...

A look into that lab space I mentioned in my previous post

EXP | 795 Columbus Avenue | Northeastern University

Work continues on the external fins. Somewhat hard to tell, but they are being attached away from the direct side of the building itself. Gives it a subtle 3D effect. Also, don’t have pictures of it, but work on the interior is coming along nicely. Second floor has lab tables installed on the...

Northeastern University - Institutional Master Plan

I don’t think it’s fair to say it’s that “men are failing” but rather, women are succeeding.
