There's a lot of hate of the revised proposal and perhaps justified but the streetscape will be so much better when the garage is leveled. Maybe, just maybe, the actual building will be far better than the rendering.

I have to admit that my initial reaction to when this was proposed was just meh, another glass tower, but as construction (recladding) nears completion, I'm very impressed.

That's a cool pic. Nice! Unfortunately, the very close proximity of the Raffles tower will only diminish the iconic JHT.

A handful of years ago, the canal district was little more than a shithole on the Worcester radar. The transformation in just the past couple of years, which is still ongoing, has been amazing. Whether the canal district becomes economically viable (to pay the bonds) remains to be seen but I...

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think the new proposal is far superior. The original rendering looked overwhelming to the flow of the local streetscape and this appears to fit nicely.

The architectural merits of the casino buildings are debatable for sure but compared to the toxic waste dump that preceded it, I think it's a slight improvement. I suspect residences of Everett would agree, traffic woes notwithstanding.

I read (somewhere in this thread) that it will peak around 415'. I do like the rendering of the tower but given is very close proximity to the JHT, I'm glad it won't be any taller.

Perhaps is the angle of the satellite image but it looks like they need to extend the loading/unloading area further West. Has anyone seen those supersize container ships arrive yet?
