South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

This project is a must. Would be awesome to add another 650+ building to the downtown core to go with MT and Winthrop.

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

Looks like its going to start going vertical!

MBTA Red Line / Blue Line Connector

Is this RL-BL connector still just a proposal or is it under construction already?

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

Will the makeover change the height of the building at all?

[CANCELED] 1000 Boylston Street | MassDOT Parcel 15 | Back Bay

Disappointing to see this get scrapped. Looked really good in the renders, although a bit stumpy. As a fellow height-fetishist, I don't see why every building in the Back Bay has to be 750'. There are already 3 that fit that category. 550' was plenty tall enough. Unless a tower is going to...

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Has there ever been any talk to SQ having a BOS-SIN route??? Thats really a big name carrier/route that Boston could/should have... Boston could potentially have Qantas routes to Sydney/Melbourne, Air India to BOM/DEL, and perhaps South African to J'burg.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

It can't be worse than Avalon North, lol. The only thing going for Avalon North is that it was decently tall-ish as the West End's tallest building (not anymore though).

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Yeah Avalon North looks pretty ordinary to say the least. I'm afraid Bulfinch Crossing Residential will be similalrly unimpressive. I guess they can't all be like MT, 1 Dalton, or TD Garden.

The Sudbury (Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower) | 50 Sudbury St | GCG Phase I | Gov't Center

Wiki says this building will be 547' but the website only says 480'...whats going on?

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Always wondered this...is MT and Winthrop Center designed by the same Millenium Partners company?

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Its not great, but its not that bad. Could have been a lot uglier.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

We mostly agree regarding Philly, Boston, and DC. Chicago is certainly "the 2nd city" in terms of impressiveness. Even LA feels smaller than Chicago. But LA still feels pretty big. Boston is probably a more vibrant city than all but a few in the US. It certainly world class in all respects...

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I'll try to clarify what I meant. Everyone knows NYC's stats (biggest, most densely populated, most skyscrapers, tallest skyline, etc). The city rarely ever sleeps en masse. My experiences in Boston and Philly are admittedly sparse (spent 3 days in Boston, 1 in Philly) but I've lived in Chicago...

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

Excited about this bad boy. Its not officially u/c yet, is it?

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Well NYC and Boston are the two largest cities north of NJ...there is also some form of rivalry between the two as well. Of course outside of LA and possibly Chicago, no city is a virtual equal of NYC but both Boston and NYC are elite east coast cities. In many regards, Boston is a minature...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Whoa...are they starting on the office building already??? Haha, Boston construction is so slow I thought it would be a year between completeion of the residential tower and start of the office tower, lol.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Is this building a residential tower?

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I must apologize. I actually know very little about urbanism/development so I am probably just parroting a lot of stuff I've read here. And although I was born in Boston, I only lived there for 2 or 3 short months, visited only twice thereafter, and only recently become a fan of the city. So I...

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I'm from Nashville, and forget NYC, I doubt Music City has as much red tape as Boston does when it comes to building anything remotely tall.
