yes and no on this. part of the reason the queue is on the bridge is because there is only the 1 lane feeding 4 at the actual signal. making this 2 lanes a longer distance will actually allow for more efficiency at the signal (but agreed, it wont help the queues coming up N Washington and...

    Block G | 120 Seaport blvd | Seaport sq

Seaport square master plan works like this, master plan approves uses/SF/envelopes of buildings (that's what the recent NPC was) and then each individual block goes through BCDC. It's always been this way (eg, 88 Seaport already through BCDC a couple years back, but not built). Block G has not...

Cars can be moved. The other option would be ground level or 2nd level parking. No thanks. Not to mention 5' does protect below grade if there isn't a way for water to get into the building.

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

'they' are 2 different entities though. Skanska had bought the 2 sites of 101 and 121 from BGI and initially constructed the plaza. WS then bought all of the remaining sites of Seaport Square, changed the vision to include the pedestrian Harbor Way and are now reconstructing this portion to...

this shot, is why they used support from underneath instead of cable stayed/suspension that would have needed something tall. they didnt want this bridge competing with the Zakim. I would say that is the right design decision

Why, because its center running? Now, a person with disabilities (or anyone for that matter) has to cross the entire road once (inbound or outbound). With the proposed the crossing is just half way twice. 1 lane of general traffic each time or 4 lanes at once. I'd say that's an improvement...

Are people really unaware that was the whole point of the Olympic bid?!!! Force infrastructure improvements via a defined deadline that would then be used for regional growth.
